What can i expect
• Application of sustained pressure directly over the area.
• Onset of your pain, which typically subsides within about 40-60 seconds of applying pressure giving immediate pain relief.
• Stretching exercises to do at home and eventually strength & conditioning exercises, as rehabilitating this muscle is extremely important for long term resolution of your symptoms and to prevent a build up of more Trigger Points again.
• Your therapist can also use dry needles to de-active the trigger points. This technique is called dry needling and has the same effect, but sometimes longer lasting.
